Ben is a British Photographer, born in Yorkshire, England. He worked in both London and Paris before settling in New York where he is currently based.

Ben’s aesthetic creates a strong narrative style, combined with the ability to document seemingly intimate moments in a polished and aspirational way. His strong ties to the art world are evident in all his photographs and collages.

As a direct consequence of Ben’s passion for photography and his personality, his shoots and sets are full of positive energy, adventure and humor which is greatly valued by clients and colleagues alike. Ben also directs motion campaigns for a number of his clients.

Ben began his career shooting reportage and rapidly fell in love with fashion, having had his first fashion works commissioned by The Face magazine in London.

When not on fashion assignments he can usually be found in and around his studio in Greenpoint, photographing and developing projects for his exhibitions, blogs and books.

Ben is publishing his first book on Modern Feminism in 2017. He has had five solo exhibitions in Europe and South America and is currently planning his first American exhibition in New York in Fall 2017.

Ben is committed to developing new photographers by lecturing on the subject in both Europe and America.

Brooklyn based, but back and forth frequently to Europe, Ben’s clients include British Vogue, Vogue UA, Elle, Numero, Numero Tokyo, Numero China, Muse, Interview, Wonderland, Arena Homme + and Purple.

Ben’s campaigns include Uniqlo, Nike, Yves Salomon, H&M, and John Varvatos.

Ben lives in Greenpoint with his wife Candy, sons Hockney and Yves and a small Dachshund called Cheese.
